Account information

Editors can sign up with an email and password, or with Google. The account stores your email address and, if you use Google, the name and email Google shares with the sign-in. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not kept in DraftGate's own database as plain text. Your profile can also store a plan, a default price, a branding note, and a logo.

Projects and videos

When you create a project, DraftGate stores the title, description, client name, client email if you enter one, price, watermark settings, comments, and whether the project has been paid. Video files and logos are stored in Cloudflare R2. Clients who open a review link can leave a display name and timestamped comments. Those comments are visible to the editor who owns the project.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. DraftGate does not store full card numbers. Stripe receives the payment details, and DraftGate stores the payment status, amount, currency, platform fee, and the Stripe identifiers needed to unlock the file and send a payout. If you connect payouts, DraftGate stores the identifier of your Stripe connected account.

Technical data

The site is hosted on Vercel. Hosting logs can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. The editor session is kept in browser storage so you stay signed in. DraftGate does not run advertising cookies and does not sell personal information.

Who receives data

• Supabase, for accounts and the project database.
• Cloudflare R2, for video files and logos.
• Stripe, for checkout, subscriptions, and payouts.
• Google, if you choose Google sign-in.
• Vercel, for hosting the website.

A client who opens your review link can see the preview, your branding, and the price. They cannot see the clean file until the project is paid.

How long it is kept

Project data stays until you delete the project. Payment records can be kept after a project is deleted so the payout history remains accurate, and where tax or accounting rules require it. You can ask for your account data to be deleted by emailing support@draftgate.app. Records that must be kept for legal or payment reasons are retained for that purpose only.

Your choices

You can update your branding and price in Settings, cancel Pro, and clear your transaction history. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain uses. Email support@draftgate.app to use those rights. DraftGate is not directed at anyone under 18.

Updates to this policy are posted on this page with a new date.
